Enfocus said that several industry experts, analysts, integrators and vendors have confirmed that they will speak at the first Virtual Safari online educational conference, being held Monday, May 19 through Friday, May 23. These high profile professionals will present comprehensive knowledge, with complete candor, regarding a wide range of graphic arts technologies.

Each day of the Virtual Safari Conference will include six hourly blocks starting at 11:00 am and ending at 5:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (US). Attendance is free, and registration is available at: virtualsafari.enfocus.com VIP Executive Sessions will feature well-known graphic arts “gurus” Dr. Mark Bohan and Julie Shaffer of Printing Industries of America, and independent industry consultants and writers including Frank Romano, Richard Romano, David Zwang, Tom Crouser, and Ron Ellis.

Twenty channel and vendor organization representatives will cover topics and solutions including color management, digital asset management, imposition, media, MIS, post-press finishing, web-to-print, workflow automation and more, for all types of print service providers.

“The Virtual Safari is a unique, new event where anyone looking for straightforward information about industry trends, software or workflow solutions, from creative through output and finishing, can come at their convenience,” says Michael Reiher, Product Manager at Enfocus. Reiher says that graphic arts professionals at all levels are hungry for more education than ever, but have difficulty traveling to physical conference locations for the latest information.

Virtual Safari offers seminars on Lights Out Automation; Color Management for Wide Format Printing, MIS integration, On Demand Books, Variable Data Printing, Web-to-Print, Automated Imposition, PDF quality control and much more.

Virtual Safari has something for everyone, and the sessions are spread out over a full work-week to accommodate busy schedules. In order to keep the conversation going, and provide the semblance of a real conference environment, where thoughts and ideas can be exchanged, a Twitter hashtag (#EnfocusSafari) and a Linkedin group (Enfocus Virtual Safari) have been established. On Twitter and Linkedin, presenters as well as Enfocus experts will be on-hand, throughout the week, to answer questions from attendees.

“Interactivity is important to us,” says Reiher. “We want this event to be educational, and we want it to be interactive, like a real conference. Too many people in the graphic arts and printing industry don’t get a chance to travel to tradeshows or conferences, where you have a chance to see new products, exchange ideas and meet industry experts. We wanted to provide this experience in a virtual setting, so that everyone would have a chance to join-in and learn.”

Who Should Attend: Owners, production managers, IT professionals and prepress operators at any sized print service provider, offering either traditional offset or digital services (including large format), and interested in learning about current business trends, latest production tools, or workflow solutions, should attend Virtual Safari.

All sessions will be recorded and made available for viewing after the conference, so that busy professionals can watch at their convenience. Registration for all sessions is free and open to anyone. Those interested in registering for the Virtual Safari may sign up for individual or multiple sessions by going to: virtualsafari.enfocus.com
