OMET Americas Inc., based in Des Plaines, Illinois, will take the occasion of Labelexpo Americas 2014 to show off its potential on the north American territory: new products, premium on-field assistance and enduring technical expertise.

A new location, an experienced sales and service team. These are the foundations of a successful penetration of OMET on the territory of North America, where many installations worthy of note are the proof of the appreciation shown over time for the Italian press manufacturer and its products.

OMET celebrates its 13th ongoing participation in Labelexpo Americas with the kick-off of a new project, the XFlex X4 in width 17’’ (440 mm). XFlex X4 is the entry-level press of OMET offering, though, a top-rate electronic equipment including the famous Vision register control system, twin servo-motors on each printing unit and label and film printing capabilities. The addition of the extended width to the XFlex X4 project has been thought just for the American market, where printers have the objective to accommodate with ease both the printing of short and medium runs of labels to long runs of flexible packaging.

OMET has the credentials to be a reliable partner in the American territory with a wide expertise in the printing market and a high-level technological offer. If we add the accessibility of on-site assistance, immediate troubleshooting and fast spares delivery, the deal is complete.

The XFlex X4 will not be alone on booth (#3123). At its side a XFlex X6 530 in 10 colours will give proof of its modularity, flexibility and multi-process capabilities, since long considered a benchmark for the printing industry. During the show days, XFlex X4 will demonstrate the rapidity of changeover and the excellence in self-adhesive label printing for the wine and spirits sector. On the XFlex X6, shrink sleeve printing will alternate with self-adhesive converting to show the potential of the machine in terms of versatility and highly consistent results. Both machines deliver outstanding performance on many products to include film printing, self-adhesive, special papers, shrinkable materials, in-mold labels, aluminum and special applications.

OMET Americas, Inc., has less than a year ago moved to Illinois, to a livelier business area, and reorganized its structure. Its scope includes sales and service for both the printing and the tissue industry on an installed base of around 130 machines (number that is growing month after month), for the North, Central and South America markets, store and logistics for spares and exchanges and an OMET-certified training center.

OMET Americas Team consists of 3 administrative Staff and 4 service specialist with transversal knowledge from electronics, to mechanics to electrics, working in-house and travelling outside and covering the whole American territory. The facility in Des Plaines is actually a brunch of OMET Service structure in Italy thus sharing the same philosophy that places the customer at the center and offers a wide range of services including on-field assistance, fast spare parts delivery from its American and Italian warehouses, webcam troubleshooting and consultancy in English and Spanish.
