Fespa Eurasia to continue success in 2015

  • Publicado el 26 de Febrero de 2015

Analysis of FESPA Eurasia 2014 reinforces the event as a leading platform in the region for the wide format printing and garment decoration industries. The completion of the post-show report, gives manufacturers and printers an insight into the results of the event which attracted a total of 8,707 unique industry professionals across the 4 days – a 27% increase on the inaugural trade show. Visitors cited the primary reasons for attending the exhibition were to explore the latest products, and to make final purchasing decisions about equipment.

Further attributes to the audience quality included: over 50% with final decision-making authority; 69% senior company representatives (owners, managing directors and management positions); and a collective investment budget of €1.8 billion. These positive outcomes have led to numerous reservations for FESPA Eurasia 2015, taking place 10-13 December in halls 2 and 4 at CNR Expo, Istanbul. After just a few weeks of releasing the floorplans, 57% of space has already been allocated to national and international suppliers.

FESPA Group Exhibition Manager, Michael Ryan, comments on the 2015 event: “We have been careful to select dates for FESPA Eurasia which fit well with visitors – based on our previous research on industry investment budgets – as well as being suitable for companies wishing to exhibit. In 2014 we saw FESPA Eurasia grow 20% in space and 27% in visitor numbers, the result of an effective sales and marketing campaign, good investment of resources, as well as the perfect placement within the calendar year. We are committed to continue improving the show and deliver another successful regional industry event.”

General Manager, Yavuz Selim Ezgü, from confirmed exhibitor Optimum Digital Planet mirrors this sentiment as he comments on their participation at FESPA Eurasia 2015: “Optimum Digital Planet has been a loyal exhibitor of international FESPA exhibitions for ten years; offering us an effective platform to develop our export business. Now with FESPA Eurasia, we are pleased to experience FESPA’s ability to bring both national and global audiences together in a successful show. We believe the valuable contribution of FESPA Eurasia to our company and the Turkish printing industry, will continue to increase in 2015 and beyond.”

In addition to supporting the regional market through the exhibition, FESPA continues to re-invest in the community via its Profit for Purpose business model; assigning surplus revenues from the trade show to fund local projects (Mersinli College funding), as well as supporting exhibition partner ARED – the Turkish member association of FESPA – who delivers a range of educational events, training programmes and relevant market information to printers and sign-makers across Turkey.

ARED President, Halil Eligur comments: “We have received a lot of positive feedback following the second edition of FESPA Eurasia, and we are excited about the next edition. At ARED we have a clear understanding of the challenges businesses face in the region and work to supply the community with what they need to sustain growth across the year, culminating with sharing ideas and exploring innovations at FESPA Eurasia.”
