Pigment.inc appoints European product manager

Bruce Van Greunen appointed Sales and Technical Manager for Pigment Inc UK, the EMEA Sales Division for the Australian technology company, Impression Technology. Bruce brings more than 15 years of sales and technical experience from the large format digital print industry. Starting in the digital print industry as a field support engineer, working on Scitex, Nur and HP large format digital printers, based in Johannesburg South Africa he covered Sub Saharan Africa, providing technical and application support.

Naturally developing into Hardware Sales and  Equipment training into that region, Bruce eventually opened and managed a successful office branch in the Western Cape Province. In 2007 Bruce was head hunted, and relocated to the UK as a large format product specialist Selling Agfa, Gandi innovations grand format printers and DGEN Direct to Textile printers. He then progressed to a more specialized role as Technical presales and applications specialist for an HP Distribution company, developing and supporting channel Partners.

To coincide with Australia’s Impression Technology – best known for its direct-to-garment printers, sold internationally under the DTG brand – announcement of a strategic move into the roll-to-roll textile printing market, the formation of a new company, Pigment.inc, which launches at FESPA 2015 in Cologne, Germany, in May.

 

Bruce plans to develop a successful channel partnership across Europe, using a combination of technical, application and Sales skills, to promote the new RoTx digital textile printer series and separate Pre-Treater. The company will also provide fabric finishing equipment in what it describes as a complete end-to-end solution, regardless of fabric type, under the tag line ‘Everything Textile’.

Pigment.inc will offer a choice of three digital textile inks with its machines - reactive dyes for natural fibres in garment and fashion textiles; sublimation dyes for synthetics used in sportswear, soft signage, flags and banners; and pigmented inks for use across the range of fibres for interior design, homewares, displays and other forms of soft signage.
