Tharstern to demonstrate MIS expertise at Labelexpo

  • Publicado el 30 de Septiembre de 2015

Tharstern, the pioneering specialist software house with over 700 worldwide installations, will be bringing its expertise to showgoers on its Stand 9A19 at Labelexpo 2015 in Brussels from 29 September to 2 October. Tharstern has a management information system (MIS) that provides label companies with technology that is bespoke to the needs of their industry. Latest MIS will show how users can seamlessly integrate with their other essential software.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to pick up a free copy of its latest strategy guide for label printers, ‘How Label Printers Can Gain A Competitive Edge”, which focuses on in-house plate-making and reprographic services. The Tharstern MIS now supports continuous flexographic printing. This enables users to configure flexo presses and cost centres, and drive the estimating process from die-cutters. The intelligent estimating software dynamically calculates costs based on a range of available equipment and media.

Lee Ward, Tharstern Sales Director, said: “No one size fits all. We understand that label companies have unique specifications, workflows and standards to the rest of the printing industry, which is why we’re so pleased to be exhibiting at Labelexpo. “We will show how they can streamline their production workflow and create efficiencies that will increase the profits of each job as well as provide accurate costings so they focus on the most profitable jobs.

“The label sector increasingly understands the many benefits of using an MIS platform from Tharstern that seamlessly fits into other workflows. Users want an integrated solution that saves time, speeds up the production process and increases sales and profitability.”

Lee Ward and Tharstern’s label sales specialist Dawn Galley will be available throughout the show.  Tharstern, which underwent a management buyout in July 2014, is celebrating its most successful year ever. The software specialist was started 30 years ago and its client base has now extended to 700 in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Asia.
