ASLAN's new highly transparent digital printing film

  • Publicado el 25 de Febrero de 2016

The German specialist for self-adhesive films, ASLAN, expands its portfolio of digital printing films: The WindowClear ASLAN DFP 18 has been developed for the design of glass surfaces, particularly when a high transparency is desired. Due to the material's characteristics, the application of the flexible, polymeric PVC-film is especially easy and forgiving - even on curved surfaces. As an added bonus, working with the transparent film saves a significant amount of time, since images do not have to be cropped, plotted and weeded.

After being printed, the self-adhesive film can be applied simply in one piece. While the printed areas ensure an excellent print result, the plain areas remain invisible thanks to their high transparency. Thus, even very fine graphics and fading colour gradients can be shown on glass. In addition to the individual design of glass doors, room dividers and windows in offices and restaurants, the digital printing film is especially suited for the design of shop windows. Printed in reverse and applied from the inside, the film is not only protected against vandalism, but also the printed colours appear even more brilliant behind glass.

The WindowClear ASLAN DFP 18 is available in a roll width of 1.37 m. It can be printed with all solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-curable inks. With a minimum outdoor durability of seven years it is even ideally suitable for long-term applications.
