Leading graphic production and installation company Extreme Display has added a second MTEX direct-to-textile printer to its fleet, investing in a new 3.2m MTEX 5032Pro. The company, based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, specialises in delivering graphic solutions for retail, point of sale, event and exhibition, museum and interior projects, and works with clients from across the globe.

Director Chris Jenkins said: “When we decided to expand our textile print offering, we chose the MTEX 5032Pro to continue our investment in quality. “The 5032Pro is more cost effective, with faster turn around and quicker production times than the other options we looked at, and we already have an MTEX 3200 that we are really happy with.

“We know that the MTEX 5032Pro will deliver the brilliant and vivid colours our customers have come to expect, with a resolution up to 1440 dpi. “We’ve been working in the industry for over 15 years and we offer a comprehensive specialist and bespoke range of graphic solutions – with quality at the heart of all we do.

It is the second-generation version of the 3.2m wide MTEX 5032 which has a proven track record in the industry as the market leading direct-to-textile printer in Europe. Different fabrics can have varying tensions across the roll, so MTEX developed an electro-pneumatic feeding system that handles the challenges inherent with printing onto textiles with ease, and prevents errors occurring during the print process.

The feed and take up system has compressed air shafts which can now handle bigger and heavier rolls of material than the previous model and is married with the un-interrupted bulk ink feed system for continuous printing.
