swissQprint, leader in Western Europe in 2015

  • Publicado el 18 de Abril de 2016

swissQprint was the best-selling brand of mid-range large format UV printers in Western Europe in 2015. The Nyala 2 model stands out from all the others. Increasing numbers of digital print suppliers are choosing swissQprint, especially in Western Europe: in this region the Swiss manufacturer delivered nearly 20% of all large format printers in the price range from EUR 130,000. The swissQprint Nyala 2 model was the clear front runner in comparative terms. No other printer in its class was purchased nearly as often in Western Europe last year. The Impala 2 and Oryx 2 models also scored high in the popularity stakes. Customers appreciate both the versatility of the Swiss systems and their high-quality workmanship and printing.

In common with all swissQprint printers, the Nyala 2 is not only robust and precise, but also exceedingly versatile. At base it is a flatbed printer, which can be expanded with various options. The Nyala 2 print bed measures 3.2 metres wide by 2 metres deep, and so accommodates commonly used sizes of board. Expanded with the swissQprint board option, a Nyala 2 can even handle media up to 3.2 × 4 metres in size. Moreover, swissQprint provides an option for roll media. The nine colour channels can be configured to the user's needs. All options are field-retrofittable.

swissQprint develops and builds its high-end products in Switzerland. The large volume of orders in the past year could be met thanks to the manufacturer relocating to newly built factory premises in early 2015. This has multiplied capacity. At the same time, swissQprint has expanded its distribution network. Western Europe still represents the largest sales market for swissQprint. But there are also growing numbers of buyers in other areas of the world. Close to 700 swissQprint large format printers are in use around the globe, some throughout the entire 8+ years since the launch of the company’s operation.
