DuPont Advanced Printing (DuPont) is launching the DuPont Cyrel FAST 2000TD system, which provides outstanding quality and productivity in a mid-size format for flexible packaging and tag and label applications. The new technology will be featured at the upcoming drupa 2016 trade fair, to be held May 31 – June 10 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

FAST 2000TD is the next-generation technology to DuPont’s existing FAST processor portfolio.

The 2000TD processor works with DuPont™ FAST thermal workflow – an innovative, highly productive plate processing technology that uses solvent-free thermal processing to produce a press-ready finished plate in one hour or less. Compared to traditional plate processing solutions that require the use of solvents and require long plate drying times, FAST technology is not only solvent-free, but also dramatically improves productivity because it eliminates the drying steps.

During drupa, print samples, demonstrations, tours and featured speakers will reveal how DuPont works across the package printing industry value chain to address technology needs and help customers achieve desired results consistent with their brand-building initiatives.
