Five master’s students from Stuttgart Media University (HdM) are carrying out research for Papierfabrik Scheufelen and helping the company to further develop the “phoenolux” packaging board. Lenningen, 17 November 2016 – As part of their master’s thesis, five students from Stuttgart Media University (HdM) are working closely with Papierfabrik Scheufelen. They are using their packaging, marketing and design knowledge to help Scheufelen to further develop the high-quality “phoenolux” packaging board.

The students on the Packaging, Design & Marketing course are thus being prepared during their master’s thesis for the demands of their subsequent professional careers. The partnership offers significant potential for both parties, as the cooperation agreement creates a binding framework for carrying out joint research and development projects. As part of study assignments, theses and semesters spent on practical placements, the students can feed their combined academic expertise into the company’s development processes while also learning about everyday working life in the packaging industry.
