Caldera has announced it will be exhibiting its award-winning print workflow solutions at FESPA ASIA this year. It will be the first appearance for the French software house at Asia’s premier event for print professionals. Running from 15 to 17 February, at Bangkok’s purpose-built BITEC exhibition center, FESPA ASIA has attracted exhibitors from 62 countries. The show’s intention is to bring together the screen, digital and textile printing communities from across the ASEAN+ region and beyond.

The move is an important step for Caldera in consolidating its growing presence in the Asian and Pacific marketplace. The company is building sales across the region and has dedicated support sales teams in China and Malaysia. “Showing at FESPA ASIA makes perfect sense for us,” says Area Sales Manager Nan Jin. “It will give us the opportunity to reach out to customers in one of the fastest growing economic regions in the world. We have been making strong new partnerships in this market in recent years and we’re becoming a respected partner for many Asian companies.”

Caldera will be showcasing a range of products at FESPA ASIA, including VisualRIP+ and GrandRIP+, its premium signs and display solutions software, and TextilePro, its market-leading textile-printing solution. Visitors will also be able to see the new Caldera V11 RIP suite, complete with APPE 4 and a host of other new features including PrintBleed and Sync&Deploy. Available in multiple languages and, V11 speeds up image processing and improves organization for wide-format print businesses of all kinds.

Michael Dreher, the company’s Director of Technical Support, will be giving a presentation during the exhibition. Make the most of your color management will focus on soft proofing, how and when to use RGB workflow for textile production and on how to optimize production with print standards and quality control. He and Nan Jin will be joined on the Caldera stand by Joseph Mergui, Valery de March and Kai Khoo.

Caldera will be located on Stand 15-200a and by partnering with Hexis and Senfa, will be creating a significant French presence at the show – a de facto French pavilion of sorts. Hexis will be showing its new HEXIS HXS5000, which offers 14 colors and allows application on flat and slightly curved surfaces. Senfa will be bringing Decoprint to FESPA – a range of coated textiles for large format digital printers.
