The Krause PlateStream with violet laser now belongs to the top-selling platesetters around the world. A variable plate handling, upgradable speeds from 100 to 400+ plates per hour at 1270dpi quality, the integration of trend-setting industry 4.0 and 3D-printing components warrant a high investment security for every budget.

The PlateStream is available as Compact with one loading bay or as Multiformat version with two loading bays for the flexible loading out of plate trolleys or easier directly from pallets. Optionally a Panorama Cassette can be added, which enables even the Compact version to automatically switch between single and panorama plates in fast alternation without user intervention. The PlateStream Compact offers a plate capacity of up to 3.030 plates and the Multiformat version holds up to 6.030 plates for a fully automated production. Loading and operation is possible from the left or right side. New is a side output option, which allows a user friendly layout even in the smallest CTP room.

The new CTP Controller with Linux OS receives the 1 Bit Tiff files from the local network. The app based operation and control of the machines is handled by an integrated tablet. Another novelty is the Krause Remote Messaging system in connection with the integrated cameras inside the platesetter, which can send in case of an error an automated E-Mail with the error message, the log-files and the relevant video sequences to the operators, maintenance teams and/or Krause. By this Krause Smart Service with Remote Experts and Condition Monitoring can secure today’s requirement for highest reliability and uptime in the best way.

In Berlin the PlateStream with the BlueFin LowChem clean out unit including the AutoClean option for the automatic processing of 6 bath fillings or up to 12.000m² of printing plates without manual intervention will be exhibited and supported by AR demonstrations. AutoClean handles the automatic chemistry change from all plate vendors including hands-off cleaning when the gum is exhausted or should be changed.

The Krause JetNet workflow in the latest version can integrate several independent Web-Press Planning systems and enables a central and automated output to several printing sites. This multi-site architecture is also supported in JetNet Portal, so that the files can be sent very flexible to various locations. A new web-based JetNet Monitoring system, which can integrate and monitor also Krause CTP components and other machines, provides an easy overview over the whole production environment.
