Microcut and Colter & Peterson (Stand N4-D322), North America’s largest independent distributor of paper cutters and paper handling equipment, will introduce two new Microcut products at IPEX, March 24-29 in London.

The highly popular Microcut system is an efficient, automated backgauge control system that improves productivity and has over 30,000 installations worldwide.  It is a standard feature on C&P’s state-of-the-art Prism and Saber paper cutters.  Adaptable to any brand or size paper cutter between 20-150 inches, Microcut produces results for a fraction of the cost of a new machine.

The new Microcut COLOR WS retrofit kit automates backgauge movement into the correct position faster and more accurately with computer-controlled precision.  An easy-to-use 8” wide format touch screen display helps guide the operator, and setup is fast and simple.  It will be demonstrated at IPEX.  Also on display will be the microcut PLUS WS that features a 12” wide format touch screen and includes the unique microcip® and microfacts® features.

The new Microtrack II is a digital display and programming guide that increases the accuracy and productivity of manually operated paper cutters.  This cost-effective microprocessor based unit features manual and a program mode that provides visual alerts to let the operator know when the backgauge is properly positioned.
