Benford UV will feature its eco UV low energy curing system at Ipex in March. Benford UV specialise in retrofitting all makes and models of offset and digital printing machines worldwide and the success of its conventional / low energy Dual UV has resulted in the evolution of a single lamp eco UV version for sheetfed presses which will be launched at Ipex 2014.

Benford UV, Managing Director- Marc Boden says “Our Dual UV has given users the option to run our eco UV mode and gain instant print drying with energy consumption 3-4 times less than conventional UV. This is achieved  using a single ECO UV lamp and low energy ink product from a variety of Ink companies some of whom are specific partners of Benford.  The excellent feedback from users has  prompted us to produce an eco UV specific system, available now, which will bring  the technology within the price capability  of a complete range of printers  with small and/or large machines working on paper, card and plastics. We are therefore talking to a wide range of potential clients, UK and worldwide, who can see the major technical  and cost benefits of or eco UV technology to their business.”
