PPG to showcase durable PPG TESLIN label solutions at Labelexpo Europe 2019
PPG announced that it will showcase PPG TESLIN® substrate for adhesive coaters, label converters and packaging specialists during Labelexpo Europe 2019, September 24-27 in Brussels, Belgium. PPG Teslin substrate is a durable, secure and easy-to-print synthetic material that excels in applications that demand a tough, high-performance label solution. The substrate contains micropores that absorb inks, toners, adhesives and coatings, locking them into its structure for long-lasting durability and security with no additional processing or expense.
Mitsubishi HiTec Paper with two innovations at Labelexpo Europe 2019
With two innovations in store, Mitsubishi HiTec Paper is presenting a wide range of coated specialty papers for the label and packaging market at Labelexpo Europe 2019. The new products: jetscript METAL VPG 1018, a metallic-silver gloss inkjet paper for the water-based inkjet printing of self-adhesive labels, as well as barricote BAG WGOM, a fully recyclable barrier paper for flexible food packaging with multi-barrier against water vapour, grease and oil, oxygen and aroma as well as mineral oil migration.

MPS and Domino to launch wider hybrid EF SYMJET press at Labelexpo Europe
At Labelexpo Europe 2019, the new press combination will be shown for the first time. Louise Adcock, Global Commercial Product Manager at Domino Digital Printing Solutions said: “The Domino N617i is based on our proven N6-series ink jet product range; but has been designed exclusively for MPS. Entrepreneur and printing ink pioneer Rudolf Epple has died
After a short illness, Rudolf Epple has died in Augsburg on 20 July 2019, at the age of 93. As Managing Director of today's Epple Druckfarben AG from 1952, Ru-dolf Epple played a major role in the rise of the company. Until 2015, the entre-preneur was a member of the supervisory board of Epple Druckfarben AG. Today over 200 employees work worldwide for Epple Druckfarben AG, which is Germa-ny's leading provider of sheetfed offset printing inks, as well as being globally active.
The 29th FuturePrint edition comes to an end exceeding expectations of exhibitors and visitors alike

Mumbai’s KEM Cards brings digital flexo in-house with Esko CDI Spark 2350
Mumbai-based label convertor KEM Cards has recently invested in integrated Esko hardware and software solutions in order to bring its complete flexographic platemaking process in-house. The printer of self-adhesive and wet glue labels, which uses five narrow web flexographic presses at its Navi Mumbai plant, has acquired an Esko CDI Spark 2350 and the Flexo Tools software for its in-house plate room.
