technotrans AG steps up pace of growth

technotrans AG has maintained its rate of growth over the first nine months of the current financial year: revenue including the recently acquired businesses was up 12.7 percent at EUR 103.3 million. In organic terms the company achieved solid growth of 6.1 percent. The reported earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) fell by 3.8 percent to EUR 6.5 million due to non-recurring, acquisition-related effects. Disregarding these one-off additional costs, EBIT rose by 8.0 percent to EUR 7.3 million and was therefore within the forecast range for the full year. technotrans also confirmed the organic growth targets.

Ghent Workgroup (GWG) announces the release of Ghent PDF Output Suite 5.0 for testing and adjusting PDF output workflows with color management in order to be fully compliant with PDF/X-4. Ghent PDF Output Suite 5.0 helps determine whether workflows are behaving as expected, and identify errors in a fast and easy way. It is distributed as a series of PDF patches that can be applied by end users of graphic arts equipment as well as developers of applications handling PDF files. Each patch is numbered and contains tests for one specific property. The patches can be used individually but most patches can also be grouped together. Therefore the most important part of the Ghent PDF Output Suite 5.0 package is a six page PDF with an amalgamation of 48 patches ready to start testing immediately.

Sawgrass’ SubliJet-IQ Pro Photo XF inks for Epson 7890 and 9890 SubliJet professional solutions have earned a print display permanence rating of 64 years from Wilhelm Imaging Research (WIR) when used to imprint ChromaLuxe high-definition photo panels. Designed for and used by fine art and professional photography printmakers, these inks deliver prints that last more than three times longer than those made on silver halide photo paper with other types of photographic ink.
Toray to bring new security printing solutions to Trustech 2016

That shows clearly that the demand for an ink mesuring technology and its’ retrofitting exists. The customers are European, for example the printing houses from the EDS Group because this is where the demands for higher print quality and high pricing pressure meet.
