Monika Olbricht joins Xeikon as Sales Director Document Printing Europe
Xeikon, an innovator in digital color printing technology, is pleased to announce that Monika Olbricht has joined the company as Sales Director, Document Printing, Europe. Olbricht will take responsibility for sales and business development for Document Printing in Europe as well as the commercial launch of Xeikon’s Trillium technology, planned for later in 2015.

KBA Radebeul kicks off the year with service drive

Domino announces presence at Label & Print 15
Domino has confirmed its plans to attend Label & Print ’15 (NEC Birmingham, 25th – 26th February), the UK’s largest print for packaging exhibition. Visitors to stand M14, Hall 10 will be able to view first-hand the company’s latest print samples and discuss print and packaging requirements with key Domino spokespersons.
EFI reports record revenue for fourth quarter and full year 2014
Electronics For Imaging, Inc. a world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, today announced its results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2014. For the quarter ended December 31, 2014, the Company reported record revenue of $211.1 million, up 7% compared to fourth quarter 2013 revenue of $197.2 million. Non-GAAP net income was $25.1 million or $0.52 per diluted share, which included an unfavorable non-operational currency impact of $0.02 per share, compared to non-GAAP net income of $23.8 million or $0.49 per diluted share for the same period in 2013, which included a favorable non-operational currency impact of $0.01 per share.
InPrint to launch in Milan 2016
In line with the strategic aim to 'Lead the Future of Industrial Print', InPrint organisers, FM Brooks, have announced the launch of InPrint 2016 which will take place in Milan, Italy 9-11, November 2016 at MiCo, located close to Milan city centre. The launch of InPrint in Milan, exactly a year after the second edition of InPrint in Germany, is in direct response to demand from the market for a dedicated forum for Industrial print technology in Italy.

Kodak highlights Digital Print Technologies at Hunkeler
Visitors to Kodak’s booth (PO1 in Hall 2) at the upcoming Hunkeler Innovationdays (HID) will see some of the industry’s most advanced solutions for commercial, book and newspaper printing applications.  About 4,000 attendees are expected at the biannual event, being held in Lucerne, Switzerland from 23-26 February.
Agfa Graphics with automatic board feeder and varnish printing at C!Print in Lyon
At C!Print, the exhibition for the Visual Communication Industry, which takes place at the beginning of February in Lyon, Agfa Graphics will show the Anapurna M2500i with optional automated board feeder (ABF) for the first time in Europe. L’Oreal Americas and Avery Dennison are collaborating to identify and reduce the environmental impacts of packaging labels throughout the entire label lifecycle. The collaboration has already produced a comprehensive Avery Dennison Greenprint™ assessment showing how thinner label materials can reduce environmental impacts. Avery Dennison Greenprint, a screening lifecycle tool launched in 2010, is the first of its kind in the label industry.
