New President for CEMATEX

CEMATEX, the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers based in Zurich, Switzerland, has appointed Mr Fritz P. Mayer as its new President at its recent General Assembly meeting held in Amsterdam. Mayer takes over the Presidency from Mr Charles Beauduin, who retires from the position after 4 years at the helm.
technotrans AG acquires remaining shares in all KLH companies

technotrans AG has increased its shareholdings in each of the companies KLH Kältetechnik GmbH (Bad Doberan), KLH Cooling International Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) and Taicang KLH Cooling Systems Co. Ltd. (PR China) by 35 percent, bringing them all up to 100 percent. The signing of the agreements took place yesterday, Thursday. The purchase price in the low single-digit millions is being paid in cash.
Agfa Graphics promotes the integration of print in manufacturing at InPrint 2016 technology fair in Milan

At InPrint 2016 in Milan, Agfa Graphics will display a wide selection of industrial products that are digitally printed. Whether UV-curable or water-based, Agfa inks deliver the functional requirements for e.g. flooring and furniture on melamine base. Heidelberg expands communication infrastructure to meet future digital requirements

Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) is embarking on the next step into the digital future. By creating a communication infrastructure geared to digital business models, it is making further progress in its development from simply selling equipment to becoming a customer-based service company. The digitization strategy the company has initiated is associated with completely new IT requirements for successful implementation of new Industry 4.0 applications and services. Heidelberg has therefore joined forces with IT service provider Dimension Data and other companies in the NTT Group to create a scalable and flexible IT infrastructure focusing on LAN, WAN, and communication services for some 110 sites and branches in just under 40 different countries.
Over 130 exhibitors to debut at ISE 2017

With over three months to go before it opens its doors Integrated Systems Europe 2017 has been confirmed as the biggest exhibition in the event’s 14-year history following an increase in show-floor space, exhibitors and halls. A true indication of the event’s international pulling power is the fact that ISE 2017 will see 135 first time exhibitors making their debut at the show. The Ghent Workgroup (GWG) appointed the Executive Committee at its yearly annual meeting in June. David Zwang continues as Chairman with David van Driessche as Executive Officer and Elli Cloots as Vice Chair. Andrew-Bailes Collins remains Technical Officer and Jason Lisi Documentation Officer. Peter Claes resigns as Marketing Officer, continuing as active GWG member and Treasurer. The Chairman thanks all Executive Committee and general members for their past and ongoing efforts, all on goodwill basis to support the association and industry.
Proprint Group invests in UKS first graphium hybrid UV inkjet press

ProPrint Group are the first UK company to invest in the FFEI Graphium hybrid flexographic and UV inkjet label press. Supplied by Edale, the Graphium will be installed at ProPrint’s Wellingborough facility later this year and will add highly flexible digital label, packaging and light carton printing capabilities to the company’s production environment. The press also features the UK’s first Xaar Print Bar for the application of inline digital special effects.

Vetaphone to more than double its size

Reproflex3 expands plate services with ThermoFlexX 80-D imager
