Fespa announces digital textile conference 2014 in Milan
FESPA will host its fourth Digital Textile Conference on 2 October 2014, at Grand Hotel Villa Torretta in Milan, Italy. The one-day conference will offer delegates an international line-up of digital textile experts who will share their knowledge and experience, including case studies from printers and end users.

Heidelberg Info Days showcase LE UV perfecting printing
The Heidelberg Info Days at the Print Media Center in Heidelberg recently showcased state-of-the-art LE UV dryer technology (LE stands for Low Energy). No fewer than 235 customers from 19 different countries attended this event organized by Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg). They gained an excellent insight into the efficiency and productivity of long perfectors and the associated postpress equipment. With over 2,000 long perfectors installed worldwide, Heidelberg boasts a great deal of know-how in this field.
Gmund uses water as a source of energy
Water, steam and sunshine: Gmund use them every day to produce paper. Located for the past 185 years in the idyllic Mangfall Valley, the Gmund Paper Mill uses energy from water to manufacture paper and generate electricity. In the newest paper development for the BMW i8 brochure, Gmund was able to generate up to 50 % of the electricity from the energy in flowing water.

New sales manager added as Hollanders continues its growth strategy
