SwissQprint has a roll to roll printer under way

Come May 2019, swissQprint will be presenting a dedicated roll to roll printer at Fespa in Munich. This promises to be an interesting addition to the high-end flatbed printers for which the Swiss manufacturer is already known. "Another major milestone is on the horizon," says Reto Eicher, CEO of swissQprint, the developer and producer of large-format printers. swissQprint will present a dedicated roll to roll printer with unique features at Fespa 2019. "Our aim with this printer is to meet current trends and give users an efficient working tool," says Eicher.
Meech to present its industry 4.0 solution, smart control at ICE Europe 2019

Meech International plans to use ICE Europe 2019 (12-14 March 2019, Munich Trade Fair Centre, Hall A6 – Stand 330) as a platform to demonstrate how its web cleaning and static control equipment can help converters produce immaculate webs for packaging and labelling. GAMA Group expands the portfolio of its viscometers

Two new viscometers have become part of the GAMA products portfolio for quality control of inks and adhesives. They are: G31- a system for pH control, temperature and viscosity of water-based inks for corrugate market - and G32 for control and correction of water-based adhesives, varnishes and lacquers. The main feature - present in these products as well as in all GAMA systems - is the ability of automatically guaranteeing the correct quality of the ink during rotogravure or flexographic printing, in order to obtain the highest quality of the printed material at any printing speed.

Fluxaxis uses large format 3d printing to increase blood cancer awareness

UK-based digital manufacturing service provider, Fluxaxis, has 3D printed two life-size master figures that were integral to a recent ‘Make Blood Cancer Visible’ campaign for pharmaceutical company, Janssen.
