DuPont Packaging Graphics will feature the latest DuPont Cyrel EASY flexographic plate technology as part of its broad portfolio of Cyrel flexographic printing systems designed to improve quality, productivity and sustainability during Labelexpo in Brussels, Belgium from September 29 to October 2, 2015, at hall 11, booth B16.

The new DuPont™ Cyrel® EASY flexographic plate technology platform simplifies the prepress process by building the flat top digital dot directly into the plate, resulting in increased productivity and consistency. The new technology offers the choice for smooth and engineered surface plates that can be processed in a Cyrel® FAST thermal or solvent workflow.

DuPont Packaging Graphics also will present its latest technology developments for the tag and label industry.  DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST DFUV flexographic printing plates, designed for superior performance when used with ultraviolet (UV) curable inks. This plate can improve solid ink density, reduce waste, save time and cost in applications on high end substrates such as pressure sensitive and self-adhesive labels, shrink wrap and wrap around labels, tickets, tags and boards.

Cyrel® DFUV is the plate of choice for the revolutionary “REVO” project, which has been launched by a team of seven technology leaders including DuPont Packaging Graphics, as part of a plug and play concept that expands the possibilities for flexographic converters. A live demonstration of the REVO technology, which also incorporates the new DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST 1001TD thermal plate processor, will run throughout the show. The Cyrel® FAST 1001 TD processor has a unique thermal management system and multiple roller design for improved dimensional stability and efficiency. The rapid access thermal workflow increases platemaking productivity by 60 percent while providing a solvent-free, safer, low emission workplace.
