Under the motto "drupa EXtended", Baumer hhs will be inviting visitors to drupa 2016 to come to its hhs solution-center in Krefeld throughout the eleven days of the event. A visit to the ultra-modern test lab is designed to give them the opportunity to meet experts from the company in a quiet atmosphere and to see live presentations of the latest technologies for adhesive application and quality control in the manufacture of packaging and print products.

On the one hand, "drupa EXtended" stands for the products and solutions of the Baumer hhs X family, which include the Xmelt hot-melt systems, the Xcam camera systems and the Xtend2 controllers, for example. On the other hand, "drupa EXtended" also refers to the EXtended business hours of the hhs solution-center, which will be open until at least 8.00 p.m. throughout the exhibition, and also at the weekend.

The programme of "drupa EXtended" will be rounded off by offers of practical tests relating to new requirements, as well as crash courses in adhesive application and quality control. At either location, visitors will have the chance to ask all their most urgent questions on these topics. By car or taxi, it takes just 15 minutes to get from the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds to the hhs solution-center in Krefeld-Uerdingen. So, particularly for visitors who have to travel a long way to get to drupa, the hhs solution-center is almost on the doorstep of the exhibition in Düsseldorf.

"Our company has recently launched a host of innovations relating to adhesive application and quality assurance, and it's hard to present them sensibly at an exhibition. In addition to which, our hhs solution-center offers the ideal environment for in-depth talks in a quiet atmosphere, allowing the targeted discussion of individual requirements and practice-oriented tests on our experimental setups. That gave us the idea of expanding the services of our hhs solution-center for the benefit of drupa visitors, giving them the convenient opportunity to add a highly attractive item to their exhibition schedule. We'll also be offering individualised crash courses," explains Detlef Engling, Managing Director at Baumer hhs in Krefeld.

The hhs solution-center is the technical heart of the new headquarters of Baumer hhs, which the company opened only two years ago. Since then, numerous customers from all over the world have experienced the latest Baumer hhs technologies in live demonstrations and training courses. The highlights of the live presentations during the drupa EXtended days will include innovative camera-based applications, such as the brand-new Xcam MF1 inspection system, a multifunctional system that combines position control capabilities with other monitoring functions in the easiest possible way. Other examples are the Xcam FC GM for monitoring multiple glue lines, and camera-based applications for print finishing. Beyond this, Baumer hhs will be presenting solutions for cold glue application in various fields of application, including the latest delivery systems. Hot melt applications will focus on the new tesla family. Its innovative, electromagnetic hot melt application heads are characterised by particular reliability and a vast range of uses. On request, Baumer hhs will also give presentations of hot melt coating application or polyurethane adhesive applications in the framework of the drupa EXtended days. A further focus of the event will be the entire Xtend2 family with all its sensors.

To permit perfect preparation and coordination of visits to the hhs solution-center during drupa 2016, Baumer hhs asks visitors to register for personal appointments as soon as possible, either via the local Baumer hhs sales representatives, or via the company's agencies. If capacities allow, visits can also be arranged spontaneously on the Baumer hhs exhibition stand at drupa 2016 (Hall 13, Stand C16).
