Organizers of The Print Show have announced that leading finishing equipment manufacturer Morgana Systems has signed up to exhibit at the event for the third year in a row. The third edition of The Print Show will take place from October 11th to 13th at new venue the International Centre in Telford, known locally as the ‘Birthplace of Industry’. The event will once again play host to some of the biggest names from across the print industry, while those in attendance will also benefit from a comprehensive and informative content programme.

Morgana is one of the latest names to be added to an expanded floorplan, with the company confirming its attendance at the third edition of the show. Chris Davies, event director for The Print Show, has paid tribute to the company’s ongoing support of the show.

“Morgana is a name not only known to printers in the UK market, but also across the global industry, so to have their continued support is fantastic,” Davies said. He added: “Finishing is one of the most important parts of the print production process and Morgana supplies many quality solutions that can help print firms increase productivity while reducing waste and inefficiency. We firmly believe their technology will be a huge draw once again at the show this year, as it has been for the last two.

“If you take a look at our latest floorplan, you will see that, once again, we will be addressing all major areas of the print market, as well as all parts of production. The addition of Morgana demonstrates the confidence we have built in our capabilities after delivering two highly successful annual events, which were driven by fantastic exhibitors, our supporters, and of course the UK’s highly respected community of print professionals.”

Also returning this year is Fanela, whose managing director, Artie Pallari, spoke openly positive about his experience at the show last year and his hopes for this year. Pallari said: “We had a high volume of interested visitors to our stand in 2016, and whilst we have had some conversions early on we feel the interest shown in the second-year warrants re-signing for 2017. We will be showing similar to last years range of leisure wear items along with different process available.”

Meanwhile, with a host of leading companies having already signed up to appear at the event, organisers have been further boosted by the news that several major UK industry trade bodies have also outlined their support for the show. The British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), British Association for Print and Communications (BAPC), Two Sides and Print Power, and the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) are amongst the bodies that have declared their backing for the show and will continue to support organisers in the lead-up to and during the event.

Sidney Bobb, chairman of the BAPC, said that The Print Show will offer members of his organisation, as well as the wider UK industry, access to key information, describing the event as a “catalyst to new ideas”. “The BAPC recognises that trade exhibitions and The Print Show, in particular, provide members who attend with a variety of valuable advantages including the opportunity to gain knowledge and exposure to new trends, products and resources that are valuable to any business in our industry that has a desire to succeed,” Bobb said.

He added: “The Print Show is a catalyst to new ideas and creative ways to progress any business and to make attendees aware of what is actually going on within the industry. It also provides participants with the opportunity to meet with peers and in a relaxed informal atmosphere discuss with them what is actually going on and where how the sector is developing. In addition those present will no doubt meet with competitors and acquire perhaps, strategic information.

“In the few years since its inception The Print Show has held free, relevant and focused educational seminars, hosted by a number of recognised specialists, which have proved to be invaluable to those who take part. “One of the great things about The Print Show is that it is UK-based for UK companies and so whatever is on show is particularly relevant to domestic printers, especially those who belong to a trade association such as the BAPC.”

Jonathan Tame, country manager for Two Sides and Print Power, also spoke very positively about the show, saying that its organisers share the same passion for print as his team. Tame said: “The old adage that print is dead is now about as old as the industry itself, or so it seems! However, until the next ‘time of death’ call the reality is it remains the fifth largest industry in the UK, employing 122,000 people and turning over £13.5 billion. Therefore, it is fitting that we should have a focused UK exhibition, specifically targeting the wants and needs of our vibrant industry.

“With an industry evolving at warp speed it is crucial now, more than ever, for business leaders to stay abreast of technological development to act on potential strategic diversity and business opportunity. The Print Show is the perfect forum for such comprehension, discussion and idea generation. Attended by everyone who is anyone within the UK print industry—and some more thrown in—to inspire, educate and entertain visitors! Specifically, the ‘Printers Bazaar’ is an area within the show aimed solely at providing ideas and inspiration for diversification.

“By uniting all those who wish to see print and paper flourish, the Print Power and Two Sides campaigns deliver powerful messages that print media remains a vital communications channel for generations to come. This passion and belief in the industry is shared by the organisers of The Print Show and we urge you to come and see for yourself how it can help inform your business decisions.”
