  • Publicado el 04 de Mayo de 2023

Texo Trade Services will be demonstrating its green credentials at the 2023 Munich FESPA from 23 to 26 May. With increasing demand for both sustainable products and calls for corporate social responsibility, TTS is committed to innovation in this area, ensuring that its customers and their clients always meet the market’s stricter sustainability requirements. TTS will demonstrate its new green developments and products at FESPA, as well as the opportunities it can offer the market, which include the TTS Textile Recycling Service that provides soft signage customers the chance to offer recycling to their own customers.

TTS introduces Textile Recycling Service at Fespa

With its Textile Recycling Service, TTS facilitates logistics and offers all its soft signage customers the opportunity to have used sublimation printed textiles collected and recycled. This includes used flags, silicone edge graphics, banners and textile remnants that are used for short periods, including at trade fairs or festivals. TTS stores these, offering them as one large recycling batch to its partner Frankenhuis; a recycling company specialising in sustainable textile processing. They then recycle these textiles as furniture padding. One company that is delighted to use this padding is Poufs & Pillows. They use this padding for their stunning handmade poufs. Offering this service to its customers enables TTS to give a long second life to textiles that are usually only used for a few days. The textiles are given a new lease of life as padding for boxing balls, beanbags and other furniture.

Since its establishment 25 years ago, TTS has proven itself as a forerunner in pioneering, innovative and cost-saving technology and products. And that also applies to sustainability. TTS already took new steps several years ago in its aim to lead the way in corporate social responsibility and environmental awareness. They invested in completely energy-neutral business premises, took steps to recycle all their waste flows and minimise their use of product packaging. They also introduced their GREEN textile line that offers a recycled version of all textiles, and started pilots to explore circular solutions, with the TTS Textile Recycling Service being the result of one of their successful pilots.

Floris Jan van den Heuvel, Director of TTS: ‘Clients and their customers are facing increasing sustainability demands and requirements on the products they use, such as for exhibition stand construction. They need to make a green switch to avoid losing orders to competitors that do offer products that meet these requirements. With TTS, they can rely on our green expertise and advice, a comprehensive range, high-quality service and competitive pricing. TTS can also offer rapid supply from stock and it has their own large-scale storage.’

TTS can also guarantee that its products have European certification, another stricter requirement set by the market. Floris Jan van den Heuvel added: ‘TTS is all about guaranteed quality, safety and control.’ Customers want a good price, but don’t want poor or unsafe products that could result in reputational damage. TTS offers a full service so customers can be sure that everything is taken care of in one go, with no headaches.’

TTS will also be introducing several new green products at FESPA as well as a complete RC range that enables them to offer a recycled alternative for all textiles. TTS is looking forward to welcoming visitors to its green stand number C51 in hall B1, where visitors will be informed about smart, green choices to safeguard their own and the world’s future.
